Job Description IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa) India LIXIL INDIA PVT LTD Employee Assignment Fully remote possible Full Time 19 January 2026 Date updated: 03 Nov, 2025 Job Description - Job Title:Basis AMS Specialist Purpose Responsible for managing Lixil's global SAP environment. Adhere to architecture design of the SAP systems. Provide guidance to first, second and third line teams on SAP best practices. Main Role/ Responsibilities Ensure the SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment. This includes assisting with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery SAP solutions. - Provide support for other applications and services as requested by the SAP Centre of Excellence. Contribute as possible where the area is outside of the job holder's technical expertise. - Provide second/third line technical support in areas where job holder possesses unique technical expertise. - Ensure effective root cause analysis and problem management. - Provide technical and operational expertise for Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents - Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed incident & problem resolutions when alternative solutions are available - Provide appropriate assessment of SAP OSS notes with regard to relevance for Lixil Operations - Perform detailed planning & project management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required - Perform system health audits to validate system status & report to SAP Centre of Excellence Lead - Ensure the adherence of SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution - Complete quality documentation for the SAP environments - Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing functional support of SAP - Build, manage and maintain effective relationships with SAP Centre of Excellence, third party suppliers and the Business streams - Perform different types of upgrade (Kernel upgrade, SPS upgrade, version upgrade, EHP upgrade) Job Requirements Proven SAP Basis operational expertise of minimum 5 years or more in both support and implementation scope of work. Personality - Attitude to listen and understand the needs of respective parties. - Effective and skillful communicator. - Experience with working in a relevant international environment doing Incident resolution, problem management and change request/enhancement support. - Customer focus and shows ownership of incidents and problems. - Self-starter to sometimes work under limited guidance and instructions. - Good team worker with strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Positive, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated.
