Opening for SMSF Manager (Australia) one of the leading Business Consultants for Ahmedabad location Position : SMSF Manager Location: Ashram Road, Ahmedabad - Work From Office Experience: 4+ year of experience Shift : Day Shift Oct to March Timings 8.30am to 5:00 PM IST April to Sept Timings: 9:00 am to 5:30 PM IST Job Description: Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management: Oversee the workflow and performance of a dedicated SMSF client portfolio, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, timely, and within budget. Technical Review & Compliance: Lead the review of all compliance files, financial statements, annual returns, and audit outcomes. Ensure strict compliance with the SIS Act and other relevant superannuation legislation and ATO guidelines. Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, and external auditors, resolving queries and clarifying fund-related matters. Team Leadership & Mentoring: Manage, mentor, and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and continuous improvement in technical knowledge and efficiency. Process Optimisation: Develop, maintain, and implement efficient work processes and best practices for smooth team operations and scalability. Professional Development: Stay updated with changes in SMSF legislation, ATO updates, and industry trends, actively participating in training sessions. Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years of practical, hands-on experience in SMSF accounting, taxation, and compliance, preferably within an Australian KPO or accounting practice. Demonstrated experience in a management or supervisory role. Education: A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree is mandatory. Professional certifications (CA or CPA qualified) and an SMSF specialist designation are highly regarded. Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Australian SMSF regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws is essential. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in BGL 360, Class Super, Xero, MYOB, or similar SMSF/accounting software is a key requirement. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
