The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be a key leader, responsible for shaping and executing the company&aposs technology strategy across both manufacturing and travel divisions. This role will involve driving digital transformation, leveraging ERP systems to optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and ensure the company remains competitive in both sectors.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement technology strategy: Define a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company&aposs business goals and growth plans in both manufacturing and travel.
- ERP implementation and optimization: Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing optimization of ERP solutions tailored to the specific needs of manufacturing (e.g., product configurator, inventory control, material requirements planning) and travel (e.g., reservation management, inventory management across locations, financial management with multiple currencies).
- Drive digital transformation: Identify and implement digital transformation initiatives leveraging technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud computing to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and gain a competitive edge in both manufacturing and travel.
- Oversee technology infrastructure: Manage and optimize the company&aposs IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, and databases, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability across all operations.
- Ensure cybersecurity and compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures, data protection protocols, and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data privacy standards in both sectors.
- Lead and mentor the technology team: Build, manage, and mentor high-performing technology teams (including IT, engineering, and digital transformation professionals), fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other key stakeholders across manufacturing and travel divisions to align technology initiatives with business objectives and growth strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, securing solutions and services that meet company needs.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies: Continuously monitor technology trends and industry advancements, providing strategic insights and recommendations to maintain a technological edge.

Required skills and qualifications

- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master&aposs degree preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in senior technology leadership roles, preferably with experience in both manufacturing and travel industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle) and their implementation across various business functions.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies, including:
- Manufacturing: Product configuration tools, inventory control systems, material requirements planning (MRP), and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Travel: Reservation management systems, advanced inventory management across locations, financial management with multiple currencies, and payment gateways.
- Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives leveraging cloud computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR), and risk management principles.

- MBA or a Master&aposs degree in Technology Management.
