Job Description Position purpose: Data Analyst The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, processing, and analyzing data to generate insights that support business decision-making. This role involves building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, as well as leveraging Python for advanced data processing, automation, and analysis. Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Data Processing & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and preprocess large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity for analysis. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies. Translate business questions into data requirements. Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports primarily using Microsoft Power BI. Automation & Scripting: Utilize Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) to automate data cleaning, transformation, and analysis processes, improving efficiency and reproducibility. Insight Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and written reports. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Data Governance: Help uphold data governance and security standards to ensure the quality and reliability of our data assets. Education/Qualifications and desired requirements: Proven professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including experience in: Data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Creating calculated columns, measures, and row-level security. Designing visually compelling and performant reports. Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, specifically with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases. Solid understanding of statistical concepts and analytical techniques. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A willingness to learn and grow. Language Requirements: Fluent in English (Any other language a bonus) Certification - Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
