Role Overview We are looking for a creative, strategic, and execution-drivenSocial Media Managerto lead the social media presence for all Nextwavve brands. This person will be responsible for end-to-end management of social media from research and content planning to execution, publishing, and community engagement. Responsibilities - Develop and execute multi-brand social media strategies aligned with each brand's voice, goals, and audience. - Conduct trend and competitor research to identify viral content opportunities and emerging formats. - Create monthly content calendars, including a mix of reels, posts, stories, carousels, and UGC ideas. - Collaborate with designers, video editors, and brand managers to bring content ideas to life. - Write compelling and brand-aligned copy for captions, reels, and static posts. - Manage publishing schedules across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms. - Monitor and engage with communities: respond to comments, DMs, and actively build brand love. - Track analytics and performance to optimize future content. - Stay updated with platform algorithm changes and implement best practices accordingly. - Support occasional influencer collaborations, giveaways, or social-led campaigns. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in managing social media for consumer brands (e-commerce/D2C experience preferred). - Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms like Threads or TikTok. - A knack for storytelling, creativity, and visual aesthetics. - Ability to ideate content themes based on consumer behavior, product features, and seasonal trends. - Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (design, video, brand, growth). - Basic knowledge of Canva or content planning tools is a plus. - Strong copywriting and communication skills. - Self-starter attitude with an execution-first mindset.
