excellence and collaboration ABOUT THE TEAM The Lumina Data Platform team at RealPage develops and supports the multifamily real estate industry s leading suite of AI applications enterprise reporting and analytics solutions Leveraged by owners investors and managers of multifamily real estate Lumina Data Platform powers the Data Analytics solutions that are the key tools used by executives asset managers and analysts to inform strategic and tactical decisions for the management of their assets WHAT YOU LL DO The Sr Product Manager Lumina AI Data Platform matrixes to the Director Product Mgmt Director Platform Engineering and will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our platform by acquiring new data sources transforming data and powering AI and machine learning You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering data governance problem management delivery and customer success to deliver enhancements and fixes that will improve how our customers interact with and extract value from their data You will be responsible for technical requirements gathering and documentation refinement sessions management of development issues backlog and creation of user stories and acceptance criteria The ideal candidate will set the example for technical product ownership possess a deep technical understanding be an effective communicator and motivate the team to set and achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization Please find below the job description for your reference PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive requirements gathering activities including measurable benefits and value-added outcomes in all the following Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to gather define and prioritize technical requirements for the platform that will address consumer needs and pain points Define clear actionable technical user stories acceptance criteria and uses that guide the modeling and development work Work closely with engineering to ensure the technical feasibility and scalability of the enhancements Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and validate platform performance and outcomes ensuring they meet quality standards and consumer expectations Plan and coordinate the releases including user documentation training materials and support processes Ensure that platform enhancements adhere to RealPage policies for security privacy and ethical standards Drive projects and track milestone dates delivering project updates to leadership Drive problem management escalation issues to resolution Meet service level agreement SLA for escalated to development tickets Perform triage issue investigation Partner with Problem Management to investigate issue reports Work in Azure DevOps TFS Maintain tickets and agile boards Participate in backlog refinement activities Track team performance metrics Be accessible to the engineering teams reviewing work and answering questions Formally review stories for acceptance including meeting the consumer benefit acceptance criteria and desired level of quality Participate and or present in release demos Keep meeting notes and follow up on action items Act as a mentor and provide supervision to more junior team members REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES Bachelor s degree required in a Computer Science Data Science or related field Masters preferred 7 years of progressive Technical Business Analyst experience with a cloud native data and AI platform Experience working with cloud native data lakes is a must Examples include Big Query Snowflake Databricks Synapse Athena Strong written communication skills including process and product documentation and demonstrable track record successfully working directly with stakeholders Strong attention to detail required for understanding and documenting methodology and logic as well as reviewing and editing content Expert level conducting analysis using SQL to create update and manage data queries in relational databases Demonstrated knowledge of generative AI machine learning data governance data architecture data modeling data management data governance and privacy data quality data lineage ETL and APIs Proven project management skills Technical and business requirements gathering experience Strong data analysis experience with demonstrated ability to methodically develop solutions for complex problems Proficient in Microsoft Office products Communication - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills strong verbal and written communication as well as conflict management skills Strong ability to navigate complex issues Analytical - Strong analytical and reasoning skills must be effective at summarizing and communicating complex information Collaborative - proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to the successful execution of plans Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with only general direction and minimal supervision Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES Previous experience with GCP and Big Query is highly desired Real Estate experience is preferred but not a requirement Previous experience working with project management and collaboration tools SharePoint Confluence Salesforce Azure TFS is a plus
