Job Description

SAP FICO Consultant Material Ledger

Remote (India-based candidates preferred) with minimum 8+ Years

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Material Ledger (ML) for a long-term remote engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial accounting, controlling processes, product costing, and actual costing using Material Ledger in an SAP S/4HANA or ECC environment.

- Lead the implementation and support of Material Ledger in SAP FICO
- Configure and support Product Costing (CO-PC) and Actual Costing
- Perform end-to-end configuration in FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, SD) for end-to-end process integration
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Conduct testing, defect resolution, and support go-live & post-go-live activities
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams

- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations
- Strong hands-on expertise in Material Ledger, Actual Costing, and Product Costing
- In-depth knowledge of FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, AA, CO-CCA, CO-IO, and COPA
- Experience working in S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC environments
- Good understanding of cross-module integration with MM, PP, and SD
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills

- Experience in global implementations or rollouts
- Knowledge of tax compliance and localization (India/US-specific)
- SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance

- Location: Remote
- Work Hours: Overlap with US or global teams as needed
- Duration: Long-term / Contract-based (extendable)
