Job Summary Conduct advanced research and development in stone fruit horticulture and tissue culture Work in a laboratory setting to propagate cultivate and improve stone fruit varieties using tissue culture techniques Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance crop quality yield and disease resistance Key Responsibilities Tissue Culture Propagation Perform tissue culture techniques to propagate stone fruit varieties Maintain and optimize tissue culture protocols Conduct experiments to enhance tissue culture methods and troubleshoot issues Research and Development Design and implement research projects focused on stone fruit improvement Analyze data interpret results and prepare detailed reports Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in tissue culture and horticulture Lab Management Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated Manage lab inventory including ordering supplies and maintaining records Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with other researchers agronomists and stakeholders Present research findings at meetings conferences and through publications Provide technical support and training to other staff members Quality Control Monitor and ensure the quality of tissue culture samples and plants Implement and adhere to quality control protocols Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Internet reimbursement Paid sick time Schedule Day shift Fixed shift Education Master s Preferred Experience Horticulture 5 years Preferred Work Location In person
