Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Assortment & Merchandising:
- Curate and manage product assortments for seasonal collections based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Work with design and production teams to develop and refine product lines.
- Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance brand presentation.
1. Trend Forecasting & Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and consumer demands.
- Provide actionable insights to guide product development and merchandising decisions.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and technology developments in graphic design.
1. Graphic Design & Visual Presentation:
- Create compelling visual displays and marketing collateral that reflect the brand's identity and resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the creative team to design promotional materials, social media visuals, lookbooks, and product catalogs.
- Ensure consistency in design aesthetics across all visual channels.
1. Inventory and Sales Analysis:
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product turnover to optimize stock levels.
- Use data analytics to evaluate merchandising performance and implement improvements.
- Liaise with the sales team to address product-related issues and opportunities.
1. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and production to align merchandising strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product availability and adherence to quality standards.
1. Event & Campaign Support:
- Assist in organizing in-store and online events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Contribute creative input for visual displays, window dressing, and digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fashion merchandising, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates creative design skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Excellent understanding of current fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail merchandising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
