About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our IT&S Group at BP Energy. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our technological infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of our digital systems. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative IT solutions that support the company&aposs strategic objectives. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong understanding of current technology trends, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL are preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or a similar role within the energy sector or large enterprise environments is required. Strong knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity protocols, cloud computing, and data management is essential. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams, and a proactive mindset are critical for success in this role. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in IT is also advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the company&aposs IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs and develop tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff to promote best practices and improve overall IT literacy within the organization.
- Stay updated on emerging technology trends and recommend strategic initiatives to leverage new tools and platforms for business growth.
