The campus will initially offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Economics, Business, Computer Science with AI and Cybersecurity, and Creative Industries.
About The Role
As a Lecturer in Economics / Health Economics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic life of our new Mumbai campus. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a globally respected institution in a dynamic, innovative, and high-impact setting.

This role is particularly well-suited to early-career academics who are eager to build a strong teaching and research portfolio while contributing to a bold international venture grounded in the values of academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and societal impact.
You will conduct research under the supervision of senior colleagues and contribute to the production of high-quality research outputs. Additionally, you will assist in identifying and developing potential areas of research, including preparing proposals for independent or collaborative research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality teaching across a range of undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules in Economics or Health Economics.
- Develop inclusive and research-informed teaching materials and methods.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students in accordance with university standards, supporting their academic development and wellbeing.
- Supervise student dissertations and contribute to academic advising and tutoring.
- Engage in independent or collaborative research, with opportunities to publish and build your research profile.
- Contribute to academic administration, such as module coordination, curriculum design, or programme development.
Qualifications And Experience
- PhD (or near completion) in Economics, Health Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution, or equivalent professional experience.
- Specialist knowledge in one or more areas of Economics. Up to 3 years of formal teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Demonstrated potential to contribute to high-quality research, evidenced through publications or other scholarly outputs.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and assessing university-level modules.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior faculty members and contribute to the academic community.
