Position: Lead Design Engineer – Primary/ Secondary (Substation Project)

Experience: 6-16 years

Work Location: Abu Dhabi

Interview Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

- Primary & Secondary Electrical Systems Design: Design and implement primary and secondary electrical systems for substations, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and other essential equipment.
- System Integration: Coordinate the integration of electrical, and control systems across substation infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Documentation & Review: Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings such as singleline diagrams, wiring diagrams and protection schemes.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and local regulations in electrical designs.
- Design Reviews & Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed design reviews, risk assessments, and safety checks to ensure reliability and robustness of the designs.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases of substation projects, including resolving electrical design-related issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
- 6-16 years of experience in designing primary/secondary electrical systems for substation projects in Substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of substation design, power systems, protection schemes for HV/MV substation projects.
