Freelance opportunity Job Title: Senior Microservices Developer Experience Required: 8+Years Location: Remote Working hours : 7 PM to 4 AM IST Contract Details: Duration: 3 to 6 months (extendable based on performance and project needs) Start Date: Immediate Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Microservices Developer to join our engineering team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing, and implementing scalable microservices, and ensuring seamless data flow and system integration. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective solutions. - Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. - Build and maintain APIs and data flow between distributed systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, QA, and DevOps. - Optimize microservice performance, scalability, and reliability. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to best practices. Required Skills and Experience: - 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture. - Strong experience in Data flows using Apache beam. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or any container orchestration tools is a plus. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred). - Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Exposure to message queues. - Basic understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL).
