This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled Frontend Software Engineer with deep expertise in React and Next.js to build high-performance, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience in modern frontend development, with additional exposure to Angular or mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Native considered a strong advantage. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js. - Build server-side rendered (SSR) and static site generated (SSG) applications using Next.js capabilities. - Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs for smooth and efficient data flow. - Collaborate with UX/UI teams to convert designs into refined, user-friendly interfaces. - Write clean, modular, and scalable code aligned with industry standards. - Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold code quality. - Troubleshoot issues, debug complex problems, and optimize performance. - Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. - 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development. - Strong expertise in React.js and the Next.js ecosystem, including SSR, SSG, routing, and API routes. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Solid understanding of RESTful API integration. - Experience with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM/Yarn. - Ability to write maintainable, testable, and scalable code. - Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have - Working knowledge of Angular. - Familiarity with Angular state management (e.g., NgRx). - Proficiency with version control systems like Git. - Experience building responsive, accessible, cross-browser compatible interfaces. - Exposure to frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. - Bonus: Experience with Flutter or React Native.
