Job Title Deputy Operations Manager Location Sinnar Nasik We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations at our Sinnar Frozen Division The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of our frozen products which has a range of snacks IQF Vegetables and Fruits while maintaining a safe and productive work environment Key Responsibilities Oversee Daily Operations Ensure the smooth operation of the graphite manufacturing process optimizing performance and ensuring all products meet the required quality standards Monitor production lines manage workflows and identify areas for improvement to meet production targets Leadership and Team Management Lead guide and manage the plant s operations team including supervising staff and assigning tasks Motivate the team to meet daily weekly and long-term goals while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies Production Scheduling and Resource Management Continuously monitor and analyse production schedules resource allocation and workflows Take proactive measures to prevent production delays and inefficiencies adjusting resources as necessary to meet demand and ensure a continuous flow of production Process Improvement Collaborate with the team to identify areas for enhancing productivity whether through process improvements technology upgrades or employee training Work to reduce operational costs while maintaining high production standards Compliance with Health Safety and Environmental Regulations Ensure full compliance with health safety and environmental regulations Regularly assess plant operations to ensure safety protocols are followed minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees Cross-Department Coordination Coordinate with various departments including maintenance quality control and logistics to ensure smooth operations across the plant Facilitate cooperation between departments to achieve common production goals Troubleshooting Operational Issues Quickly address operational issues as they arise Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently implementing solutions to minimize downtime and ensuring production targets are met Shift Planning and Team Scheduling Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times Optimize labor efficiency by ensuring that team members are working according to their assigned rosters Reporting and Performance Analysis Provide regular reports on production performance highlighting any bottlenecks or issues affecting efficiency Offer actionable recommendations for improvement and communicate them to relevant departments Inventory and Material Management Manage inventory levels ensuring that all required materials are available when needed for production Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering of supplies and raw materials Communication with Senior Management Maintain transparent and proactive communication with higher management taking ownership of plant operations Provide regular updates on performance metrics challenges and solutions Collaboration with HR Department Work closely with HR in the recruitment process to hire suitable candidates for plant operations Help evaluate team members performance and identify areas for further training and development Ensuring Task Completion and Policy Adherence Ensure that all team members complete their tasks effectively and in alignment with company policies Monitor and support the team to ensure tasks are completed on time and comply with safety and operational guideline
