Job Opening: Embedded Engineer Trainer - Contract RolePosition OverviewWe are seeking an Embedded Engineer Trainer on a contractual basis to deliver specialized training in embedded systems, microcontroller programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and IoT-based applications. The trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering hands-on sessions, workshops, and practical training modules for students, freshers, or working professionals. This role is ideal for experienced Embedded Systems Engineers who are passionate about knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical upskilling.Key Responsibilities1. Training Program Development Design and develop training modules, course content, and practical assignments on embedded systems. Structure sessions on microcontrollers, RTOS, IoT, PCB design, and firmware development. Customize training programs based on the experience level of trainees (freshers, working professionals, or corporate teams). Prepare training materials such as presentations, lab manuals, code examples, and project work.2. Conducting Training Sessions Deliver classroom, online, or hybrid training sessions. Teach programming concepts in C, C++, Embedded C, and Python (if required). Train candidates in microcontrollers and microprocessors such as ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, AVR, and ESP32. Guide students on using development tools like Keil, MPLAB, Code Composer Studio, Arduino IDE, and STM32CubeMX. Demonstrate real-time embedded applications using hardware kits and debugging tools. Conduct assessments, quizzes, and practical exams to evaluate trainee performance.3. Project Guidance & Mentoring Supervise hands-on projects related to IoT, robotics, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and industrial automation. Mentor trainees in hardware interfacing, firmware development, and integration testing. Guide participants in real-time case studies and industry-relevant applications.4. Evaluation & Feedback Conduct regular tests to assess knowledge retention and practical understanding. Provide constructive feedback and one-on-one mentoring sessions. Prepare trainee performance reports and submit feedback to the Training Coordinator or HR team.5. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with the Training Coordinator and management team to ensure smooth delivery of sessions. Liaise with hardware and software teams to arrange demo kits, boards, and lab equipment. Coordinate with industry experts for guest lectures or workshops.6. Continuous Learning & Innovation Stay updated on latest trends in embedded systems, IoT, AIoT, and real-time applications. Integrate modern tools, frameworks, and hardware into training modules. Explore innovative teaching techniques to make learning interactive and practical.Required Technical SkillsCore Skills Proficiency in Embedded C / C++ programming. Strong knowledge of microcontrollers & microprocessors (ARM, STM32, PIC, AVR, ESP32, etc.). Hands-on experience with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Modbus, and RS-485. Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.) and real-time systems. Understanding of IoT platforms like NodeMCU, ESP-IDF, and Raspberry Pi. Familiarity with PCB design concepts and basic electronics. Tools & Software Keil, MPLAB, Code Composer Studio, Atmel Studio, Arduino IDE, STM32CubeMX. Debugging tools: JTAG, SWD, and logic analyzers. Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control. Additional Skills Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW is an added advantage. Understanding of cloud integration for IoT applications.
