The TGT English teacher is responsible for teaching English to students of classes 6-10 The role includes building strong language skills enhancing literary understanding and preparing students for academic assessments while maintaining an engaging and supportive learning environment Key Responsibilities Teach English Language and Literature to classes 6-10 as per the prescribed curriculum Prepare lesson plans worksheets and teaching materials that are interactive and age-appropriate Conduct grammar lessons prose and poetry classes reading comprehension sessions and writing practice Promote development of listening speaking reading and writing LSRW skills Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles Assess student performance through class tests assignments projects and periodic exams Maintain accurate records of student progress and share feedback with parents Encourage participation in debates elocution drama and literary club activities Use technology and smart-class tools to enhance teaching Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment Participate in school events parent meetings and professional development programs Support slow learners and provide extra guidance when required Required Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Degree with English as a major subject B Ed with English as the teaching specialization Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred Strong command of English grammar vocabulary and literature Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to teach through engaging methods and integrate technology Familiarity with CBSE ICSE State Board curriculum for classes 6-10 Additional Requirements Optional Experience in conducting literary activities competitions or school events Knowledge of NEP guidelines and modern teaching methodologies Creativity patience and passion for student development Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 38 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
