Job Title Chartered AccountantTaxation ComplianceLocation Fort MumbaiExperience Fresher or 2-3 Years in Taxation Litigation AdvisoryQualification Qualified Chartered AccountantKey Responsibilities 1 Taxation Litigation xefx82xb7 Handle Income Tax and GST litigations including drawing replies to notices appeals and representations before tax authorities xefx82xb7 Represent the company in Income Tax and GST assessments scrutiny proceedings and departmental audits xefx82xb7 Attend personal hearings before tax authorities and provide necessary explanations xefx82xb7 Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance xefx82xb7 Manage tax compliance including timely filing of Income Tax and GST returns GSTR1 GSTR-3B GSTR-9 GSTR-9C xefx82xb7 Handle TDS compliance including deductions filings 24Q 26Q 27Q and issuance of TDS certificates 2 GST Income Tax Advisory xefx82xb7 Provide expert tax advisory on GST and Income Tax matters xefx82xb7 Draft legal opinions on complex tax issues and transactions xefx82xb7 Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations xefx82xb7 Assist in structuring business transactions to achieve tax efficiency xefx82xb7 Handle filing and processing of GST refunds including preparation and submission of necessary documents 3 Compliance Audits xefx82xb7 Support statutory audits tax audits and internal audits xefx82xb7 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the Income Tax Act GST Act and Companies Act xefx82xb7 Coordinate with external consultants auditors and legal advisors for tax matters 4 MIS Financial Reporting xefx82xb7 Prepare and present MIS reports on taxation and litigation status xefx82xb7 Analyze tax exposures litigations and financial impact for decision-making 5 Other Responsibilities xefx82xb7 Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly xefx82xb7 Handle any other finance taxation or compliance-related matters as required Key Skills xefx82xb7 In-depth knowledge of Income Tax GST and related laws xefx82xb7 Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills xefx82xb7 Excellent drawing and communication skills for preparing tax opinions and representations xefx82xb7 Ability to handle tax litigation independently xefx82xb7 Proficiency in tax e-filing portals and legal research databases xefx82xb7 Experience in attending personal hearings before tax authorities Preferred Qualifications xefx82xb7 Prior experience in handling tax litigations assessments and appeals xefx82xb7 Familiarity with GST refund mechanisms and tax dispute resolution procedures xefx82xb7 Experience in working with law firms or tax consultancy firms is an advantage
