Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using core Java and object-oriented programming principles. - Work on bug fixes, enhancements, and performance optimization under the guidance of senior developers. - Collaborate with team members on requirements analysis, solution design, and code reviews. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies. - Contribute to unit testing and ensure proper documentation of code and development processes. - Support integration with third-party systems, databases, and APIs. - Learn and apply best practices in software development, security, and DevOps. Qualifications & Skills: Essential: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of Java SE (standard edition) and OOP concepts. - Familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA. - Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Desirable: - Exposure to Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Maven/Gradle. - Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML. - Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. - Experience from academic projects, internships, or personal coding projects. Soft Skills: - Strong willingness to learn and take feedback positively. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. - Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
