Job Description Job Title: System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer Cisco DNAC / Nexus Experience: 56 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract About the Role We are seeking a System Integration Testing (SIT) Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco's DNAC or Nexus platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the seamless integration of network components and software applications across large-scale or data center environments. This role demands strong expertise in network automation, L2L7 protocols, and software-defined networking (SDN) principles. Key Responsibilities Testing Strategy & Automation - Develop and execute detailed test plans covering functional, performance, and interoperability testing for Cisco DNAC and Nexus-based solutions. - Design and implement network automation workflows using tools such as Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to streamline testing and orchestration. - Integrate testing activities within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for continuous validation of new features and updates. Network Testing & Troubleshooting - Build, configure, and maintain complex network testbeds including Cisco Nexus 9000/7000 series, fabric networks, and DNAC servers. - Validate key DNAC capabilities such as automated provisioning, policy enforcement, and network assurance. - Conduct in-depth analysis of network behavior and troubleshoot integration or performance issues. Qualifications - 56 years of experience in network testing, integration, or automation. - Strong knowledge of Cisco DNAC, Nexus platforms, and network protocols (L2L7). - Proficiency in Python scripting, Ansible automation, and RESTful APIs. - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) is a plus.
