About the Role We're hiring a backend developer to work on a healthcare technology platform. You'll build and maintain APIs, design database schemas, optimize performance, and ship production-grade code. Requirements 3–5 years of backend experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS/NextJS). Strong with data architecture, database - PostgreSQL, Redis, and Firebase. Comfortable deploying on GCP or AWS. You write clean, testable code and don't need hand-holding. Good to Have Experience in healthcare/healthtech. Exposure to FHIR, HL7, or health data standards. Compensation ₹1.5L/month. Contract basis with potential conversion based on performance and project scope. Responsibilities - Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices - Develop and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL - Implement caching layers using Redis - Integrate third-party services and Firebase for real-time features - Deploy and manage infrastructure on GCP/AWS - Write clean, documented, testable code - Participate in code reviews and technical planning - Debug production issues and own system reliability Qualifications - 3–5 years backend development experience - Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express, Fastify, or NestJS) - Solid grasp of PostgreSQL, Redis, Firebase - Experience with GCP or AWS (compute, storage, networking basics) - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization - Ability to work independently in async, remote setup How to Apply Send your resume and GitHub/portfolio to support@bruxford.com.
