ManagementLocation BengaluruJob ProfilePosition details To drive the implementation and enhancement of the Operational Risk management as appropriate for the size nature and complexity of MUFG Global Capability Centers and to provide support to the Head Risk Management and team in the managing risks within organization risk appetite Roles and Responsibilities The role will be primarily responsible for providing the day-to-day support and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management requirements Areas of focus would include but are not limited to Identifying and managing of improvement opportunities to various components of Operational Risk management Designing development and Implementing changes to the framework Maintaining the policy and procedure architecture for the Operational risk management Delivering value add support credible challenge to the 1LOD while support Operational Risk management Deliver training to stakeholders Co-ordination and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to manage Operational Risk Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders to manage risk in line with risk appetite parameters Delivering various periodic and ad hoc risk reviews and reports in a complete timely and accurate manner Support business units and corporate center functions in periodical assessment of Risk and Controls RCSA Track report and escalate on deficiencies and failed controls Supporting and where appropriate attending and presenting to relevant risk forums as required Input into and extraction of Operational risk data elements into Risk Management systems as applicable Developing and maintaining a sound knowledge of industry trends products relevant laws and regulations Support the execution of all MGS audit facilitate RFIs by ensuring effective coverage in sharing the evidence with auditors and the timely escalation of issues and conclusions communicate audit deliverables including the audit findings to senior and executive management track and manage closures of audit and self-identified issues Perform control assessment and testing as part of assurance activities Prepare audit heat map checklist to conduct the pre-audit reviews for preparedness of audit Participate in risk forums and management of risk working groups promoting balanced discussions and encouraging challenge and debate Maintain effective partnerships with key senior leaders in the enterprise risk management area of the MGS by identifying potential control risks and gaps while development and implementation activities Provide insight on the evolving risk environment and interact with key stakeholders and business leaders Ensure standard operating procedures SOPs policies guidelines are adhered to Provide recommendations wherever necessary Job Requirements 15 20 years experience working in financial services related activities e g Banking Consultancy professional services or FinTech 10yrs experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk functions Bachelors degree Professional qualifications in risk highly desirable Understanding of GCC Operational risk management Experience in RCSA Control testing or assurance activities Clear and effective communication both written and verbal Able to breakdown complex business risk issues and provide risk appropriate solutions Highly collaborative with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the department and with stakeholders across the lines of defense Ability to manage complexity effectively prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in non-routine
