Job Description Role: Assistant Manager - Data Engineering Experience: 3 to 6 years Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu , India (CHN) Job Description: Databricks Core Data Engineer - Data Pipeline Development: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Databricks and related technologies like Apache Spark, Python, and SQL. - Data Modeling and Schema Design: Creating logical and physical data models to support data storage and access, ensuring data integrity and scalability. - ETL Processes: Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data across different layers (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold) in a data lake or warehouse. - Data Quality: Implementing and maintaining data quality checks, monitoring data pipelines for errors, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability. - Performance Optimization: Optimizing data pipelines and Databricks clusters for performance and cost efficiency. - Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand requirements, provide solutions, and ensure data accessibility and quality. - Data Governance and Security: Implementing and enforcing data governance policies, access controls, and security measures within the Databricks environment. - Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to Databricks performance, data quality, and pipeline functionality. - Staying Current: Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
