Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Manager) Company: Agam Capital Job Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai We are looking for CA / CPA with at least 5 years post qualification experience in Fund Accounting / Investment Accounting / Hedge Fund Accounting / PE Accounting. Responsibilities: · Update of general ledger accounts in Accounting ERP · Act as the 1st level review / quality control and escalate as needed. · Preparation / Review of Financial Statements, working papers and deliverables to Board / Management, Auditors and Regulatory Authorities. · Prepare and / or review the supporting calculations. · Prepare / Review US GAAP, Bermuda / Cayman Stat, and Economic Balance Sheet financial statements. · Support in preparation / review of Bermuda Solvency and Capital return / Cayman Annual return. · Manage Cedant reporting. · Coordinate with the broader team and Insurance Managers on deliverables across multiple teams and functions. · Provide support, for the annual audit, internal audit, quarterly regulatory filings, and board meetings. · Provide ad hoc support as necessary. · Review and assess thresholds for assets impairment in co-ordination with Investment managers and as per treaty conditions. Requirements · US / India Life and Retirement Products exposure. Traditional and /or Annuity products preferred · Qualified CA / CPA with an open mindset to learn new concepts. · 5+ years of insurance / controllership or fund accounting experience related to month end closings, annual audit process, and regulatory filings (preferred to have experience with the Bermuda Monetary Authority / Cayman filings) · Experience with designing and creating reconciliation tools and variance reporting. · Strong analytical skills and ability to adopt a creative approach to solving complex process problems. · Ability to manage multiple work assignments and meet time commitments. · Strong oral and written communication skills Qualification: CA/CPA (required) Experience: 4-6 years of post-qualification
