Pocket FM is seeking a dynamic and creative Short Promo Writer who specializes in crafting

engaging promotional content in English for new shows, with a focus on 10-15 minute

assets released weekly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, analyzing,

strategizing, and optimizing promotional materials that enhance audience engagement and

drive growth for our business. This role involves close collaboration with growth, marketing,

creative teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that promotional content resonates with

target audiences and meets desired marketing metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write Engaging Promos: Develop compelling short-form promos for new shows in our Content Library, designed to attract users and encourage app installations.
- Leverage Pop Culture: Utilize a deep understanding of pop culture references and trends to create relatable and enticing promotional content.
- Content Summarization: Filter and curate content from platforms like YouTube to create concise summaries and engaging snippets that highlight key aspects of new shows.
- Script Development: Craft scripts for video promos and trailers that effectively communicate the essence of each show and captivate the audience's interest.

Relevant Experience:

- Relevant work experience of 2+ years in roles such as Copy Writing/
- Script Writing/ Copy Editing/Promo Writing from heavy experimentation/iteration background or the ones that require savvy marketing-based writing skills and can sell a story better, like digital tabloid or entertainment/magazine copywriters, Youtube content conceptualizers/writers/ creators, digital marketing agency copywriters, investigative journalism writers, gaming writers
- Creativity: Strong understanding of creative processes and how to evaluate creative content.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate insights and recommendations.
