We work directly with business owners and procurement teams to convert non-moving stock into working capital. As an intern, you'll collaborate closely with the founding team and contribute to building innovative, user-centered digital solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our design team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in user interface and user experience design while working on real-world digital products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the visual and functional aspects of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to deliver cohesive user experiences
- Help maintain design systems and update documentation, including style guides
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas
- Assist in creating user personas, journey maps, and other UX deliverables
- Perform competitive research and stay current with UI/UX trends and best practices
- Refine and iterate designs based on user feedback and testing outcomes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field
- Portfolio demonstrating your design process and previous UI/UX work (academic or personal projects accepted)
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop
- Understanding of UX principles, user research, and wireframing techniques
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Receptive to feedback and eager to improve
- No prior work experience requiredjust a passion for design
