Job Description Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software 12c,19c & other releases. Creating storage database structures with high-level security features. Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company. Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity. Creating autonomous database backups. Regularly updating the database security protocols. Cloning production databases for UAT and QA testing. Refreshing current database to clone database through datapump utilities (Exp/Imp). Creating ASM instance in RAC. Creating and managing Oracle DATAGUARD Knowledge of Failover mechanism on dataguard (as A/A, A/S) Creating the Cluster Database. Oracle 19c Installation and configuration. Enabling and Disabling instances Adding or Remove Node from RAC. Troubleshoot performance issues for the RAC instances (GC events) Resolving /Diagnose Node Eviction. Proven work experience as a Database administrator. Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation. Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL. Knowledge of programming languages and API. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to visualize algorithmic structures Excellent knowledge in backup recovery and performance tuning.
