Job Description Equifax is seeking a Technical Architect to significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions focused on our customers business needs. As a Technical Architect at Equifax, you will design and plan technology solutions, alongside providing leadership and support to development teams. You excel at driving business value through technology and addressing technical issues and concerns. What You Will Do - Design and develop architecture of new technical domain/practice. - Communicate requirements to development teams. - Implement IT standards, discuss high-level design options and solutions with enterprise architects and formulate concepts for the developers. - Develop proofs of concept for new solutions and technologies as well as recommendations for changes to improve system performance, throughput and lower maintenance cost. What Experience You Need - BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required - 1+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in the public cloud, including 4+ years overall relevant experience. - Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives. - Experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript and/or node.js - Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases - Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred What Could Set You Apart An ability to demonstrate successful performance of our Success Profile skills, including: - Application Development/Programming - Experience working with software design, programming languages (preferably Python, Java, Javascript), databases and networking - Cloud Services (AWS/GCP) - Managing GCP/AWS services in a particular product or platform. - DevSecOps - Need to have a strong understanding of both security and DevOps principles. - Technical Communication/Presentation - Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor to specific audiences. - Technology Advising/Consulting - Bring new ideas and perspective to table to help improve design and implementation of Technology Architecture. Provide support to the senior technical architects and to assist them with the execution of their projects, identifying potential risks before it impacts projects. Must have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the projects they are working on, as well as the ability to work effectively with others. Must also be able to think strategically and to be able to solve problems creatively.
