Job Description

Purpose:

- Create specialized content with limited supervision, supporting the end-to-end publication and medical education content development process, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise and collaborate with peers to establish best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely deliverables.

People:

- Maintain effective relationships with the medical scientific community within the allocated Global Business Unit and product.
- Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content.
- Share expertise and assist other writers in knowledge development.

Performance:

- Deliver publication and medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc.) within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions that serve as resources for publication purposes.

Process:

- Develop complex publication and medical education materials.
- Support medical communication and build subject matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Assist the scientific communication team in conducting comprehensive publication-need analysis.
- Implement elements of the publication plan and associated activities for the year in the designated region.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure deliverables meet defined processes and quality expectations.
- Design improvement plans based on end-user feedback to enhance course content and delivery.

Stakeholder:

- Collaborate with regional/area scientific communication teams to identify publication needs and assist in developing deliverables.
- Liaise with Product Managers, MSLs, and medical departments to prepare relevant and customized materials.

About You:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, similar discipline, or a medical degree.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Technical expertise in therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission processes, and/or project management.
