Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Role: Java Engineer Job type: Permanent Experience: 5 to 9 years NP – 30 Days / Immediate Mode: In Hybrid WFO Location: Pune Job Title: DevOps Support Engineer Location: Pune Shift: Rotational Shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST) About the Role: We are seeking skilled DevOps Support Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth operations across various platforms. You will work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and support deployment and release activities for applications and services. - Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and Kafka messaging systems. - Handle cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS (Linux, Windows, EC2, etc.). - Use Rancher for container management and orchestration. - Work with Apigee API Gateway for API management and integration. - Analyze system logs and logs from Splunk for incident resolution and performance improvements. - Participate in rotational shift support. - Document processes, configurations, and incidents clearly and accurately. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding system status and issues. Qualifications: - Proven experience in DevOps support - Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Rancher and Apigee. - Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management. - Experience with log management tools like Splunk. - Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication and articulation skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Willingness to work rotational shifts as per the specified timings. Preferred Skills: - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. - Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell. - Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
