Job Title WelderJob Summary The Welder is responsible for joining metal components using appropriate welding techniques such as MIG TIG Arc or Gas welding The role involves interpreting technical drawings ensuring high-quality welds performing inspections and maintaining equipment in a safe working condition Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints drawings and welding symbols Set up welding machines based on job requirements Weld materials using MIG TIG Stick SMAW Flux-core FCAW or Gas welding methods Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Operate metal cutting grinding and shaping tools as needed Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools Comply with safety regulations and use PPE at all times Identify material defects and report any issues to supervisors Perform finishing tasks such as grinding polishing or cleaning welds Maintain accurate records of work performed Skills Qualifications Proven experience as a Welder X years preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment Good understanding of metal fabrication processes Strong attention to detail and quality Physical stamina and ability to work in heat confined spaces or at heights if required Certification in welding e g AWS ASME or equivalent is an advantage Education ITI Welder Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 13 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
