Job Description The Impact You'll Make Danfoss Drives is looking for a talented and motivated Power Electronics Engineer with Solid understanding of both power converters and motors to join our agile and dedicated team in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work ha nds-on with cutting-edge power electronics. You'll be part of a team responsible for new product development. As a part of this work, you will be involved in both design and testing activities What You'll Be Doing - Design, develop, and test on different sections of a drive like switch-mode power supplies, inverters, gate drives, rectifiers, DC link, and related systems. - Work across the full development cycle from schematics to ECAD, lab testing, and production handover. - Support cost estimation, FMEA, and other development processes. - Simulation activity includes both circuit and physics-based simulation. - Contribute to EMC evaluations and compliance efforts (expert-level experience not required). What We're Looking For - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Electronics and Drives or a related field, with 3 5 years of professional experience. - Experience with switch-mode power supplies, inverters, DC link, and gate drive circuitry is preferred. - Hands-on experience in simulation tools like MATLAB, pSPICE, PSIM, Ansys, etc are added advantages. - Familiarity with EMC principles and testing is a plus. - Ability to take designs from concept to production, including schematic capture and layout.
