About The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Tax Senior to join our growing India-based tax team. The ideal candidate will be ACCA qualified and bring experience in individual, corporate, and private client tax compliance and advisory.

You will work both independently and collaboratively as part of an established and supportive team, providing tax services to a wide range clients across industry sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing technical knowledge, gain exposure to complex tax matters, and grow within a high-performing, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Advisory:

Manage an allocated portfolio of clients under supervision. Prepare and review Self-Assessment tax returns, Corporation Tax computations, and P11D, ATED filings. Assist with Capital Gains Tax calculations and basic accounting support. Provide proactive tax planning advice and assist with technical tax projects. Liaise with clients, HMRC (or equivalent), and other professionals regarding tax liabilities and compliance. Support on ad-hoc client tax enquiries and contribute to fee proposal preparation. Assist with HMRC enquiries and represent clients in meetings or correspondence.

Collaboration & Mentoring

Work closely with Managers, Partners, and other team members to deliver high-quality tax services. Provide technical support to trainee colleagues and review their work where applicable.

Project & Client Management

Participate in client meetings, calls, and third-party interactions. Contribute to the management of client assignments, including liaising with solicitors, financial advisors, and accountants. Assist in tracking deadlines, workflow, and compliance milestones.

Skills & Qualifications

ACCA qualified 24 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory (individuals, LLPs, trusts, corporate clients). Strong understanding of UK/international tax fundamentals is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, professionalism, and time management. Ability to manage deadlines while balancing study commitments. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Experience with tax software is a plus.
