Position Summary Level: Lead Solution Advisor Work you'll do: As a Senior Consultant for Infrastructure (Palo Alto/Other Firewall Products) you will work on: - Delivering next-generation cybersecurity solutions to our clients using Palo Alto Networks technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and optimize Palo Alto-based security infrastructures that help protect complex enterprise environments. - Deploy and configure Palo Alto Networks security platforms (firewalls, Panorama, Cortex, Prisma Cloud, etc.) - Design and implement secure network architectures in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. - Perform firewall policy reviews, rule optimization, and threat mitigation using PAN-OS. - Integrate and manage advanced threat prevention tools like WildFire , URL Filtering, and DNS Security. - Assist in the design and delivery of security transformation and zero trust architecture engagements. - Troubleshoot complex security issues related to firewall configuration, routing, NAT, VPN, and traffic flows. - Conduct health checks, migrations (from legacy to Palo Alto), upgrades, and performance tuning. - Develop standard operating procedures, documentation, and runbooks for client environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (networking, cloud, DevOps, compliance). - Support business development through proposal writing, solutioning, and proof-of-concept efforts. The Team: Enterprise Security teams embed cybersecurity across all facets of digital transformation by securing a client's technical infrastructure, while enabling innovation and agility. Their services span security architecture, secure development, cloud cyber capabilities, application and emerging technology security, and secure-by-design initiatives. DevSecOps further integrates automated security into the software development lifecycle, embedding testing and remediation within CI/CD pipelines for agile, risk-aware deployment. Through Deloitte's DevSecOps framework, teams drive operational efficiency and secure design principles, ensuring robust protection in cloud and application environments. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - 5 + years of experience in implementing Palo Alto Networks technologies. - Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls (PA-series, VM-series), Panorama, and associated subscriptions. - Experience in network and security protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec, SSL, BGP, OSPF, NAT). - Hands-on experience with security best practices, firewall rule tuning, and network segmentation. - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating Palo Alto in cloud settings. - Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. - Participate in incident response and troubleshooting network/security issues. Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, AWS/GCP Cloud Security) are a plus. - Experience working in AWS, GCP, AZURE. - Experience with Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud. - Familiarity with other advanced network security tools and platforms - PCNSE or PCNSA certified (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) - 5+ years of hands on experience working on Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Log collectors and other Palo Alto products. - Knowledge and understanding of cloud environment. - Strong communication and documentation skills. - Problem-solving and analytical mindset. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
