We at Coforge are hiring Java Backend Developers with the following skillset:

- Implement and document new software components.
- Understand how code fits into broader technical and business context.
- Actively participate in code and technical design reviews.
- Work with product to understand requirements and contribute to release planning.
- Ensure high testability and quality of delivered software.
- Work with QA and operations teams to troubleshoot & fix defects in software.
- Participate in building Scrum process and agile culture within the company.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Springboot, RESTful APIs, Microservice design & how to design service to service interactions.
- Strong database skills such as SQL, MySQL, and Oracle are a must.
- Extensive experience as a backend developer/lead in previous projects, with strong expertise in system architecture and a deep understanding of overall business operations.
- Strong proficiency in cloud services (AWS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Mentor and coach team members by providing guidance on best practices and perform code reviews.
- Should have excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Self-motivated teammate who excels in a reciprocal environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field of study.
