The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of procurement, inventory, and merchandise management, along with experience integrating SAP MM with SAP Retail, SD, and FI modules. Job Location Across: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi Key Responsibilities - Configure and support SAP MM modules focusing on procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management within the retail business model. - Implement and optimize Retail-specific processes such as article master management, site management, merchandise category hierarchy, and store replenishment. - Collaborate with business users to understand operational needs in store operations, supply chain, and merchandising. - Integrate MM processes with SAP Retail modules (Article Master, Assortment, Pricing, Promotions, and Store Management). - Work closely with cross-functional teams (SD, FI, WM, and Retail Merchandising) to ensure seamless end-to-end process flows. - Participate in S/4HANA Retail implementations, rollouts, and support projects. - Develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and reports. - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver continuous process improvements. - Prepare and deliver training to key users and retail operations teams. Required Skills and Experience - 5+ years of experience in SAP MM configuration and support, with at least 2+ years in Retail domain. - Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, Merchandise Procurement, and Store Inventory Management. - Hands-on experience in Article Master, Site Master, Assortment, Pricing, and Listing within SAP Retail. - Experience in Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers, and Inventory Valuation. - Exposure to S/4HANA Retail or SAP IS-Retail solutions (preferred). - Good knowledge of integration with other SAP modules: SD (Sales & Distribution), FI/CO (Finance), and WM (Warehouse Management). - Experience in end-to-end implementation, support, and rollout projects. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), Fiori, or SAP Ariba. - Understanding of Omnichannel retail and supply chain logistics. - SAP Certification in MM or Retail (S/4HANA). - Knowledge of Retail Master Data, Markdown Management, or Promotion Pricing. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. - SAP Certification preferred.
