Inviting applications for the role of Principal consultant, L3 Network engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Network L3 Engineer (Principal Consultant) to lead the design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise network infrastructures. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in networking, providing escalation support for L1/L2 teams, engaging in critical incident handling, driving root cause analysis, and working closely with clients on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
.Lead the design, architecture cisco, and deployment of enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Data Canter, Cloud Networking).
.Provide L3 escalation support for complex incidents and problems.
.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent resolutions.
.Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
.Work on network security integration (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
.Implement and optimize network monitoring and performance tools.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud and hybrid network designs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
.Create and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
.Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers in resolving complex issues.
.Participate in capacity planning, DR planning, and network optimization projects.
.Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
.Support 24x7 on-call rotation for critical production environments.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
.Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS
.Firewalls & Security: Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet
.Load Balancing: F5, Citrix NetScaler
.VPNs: IPSec, SSL, Remote Access
.SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Aruba, etc.) Strong experience in troubleshooting complex L3 network issues.
.Knowledge of wireless networking, NAC, and WAN optimization.
.Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, GCP VPCs).
.Hands-on with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Splunk, NetFlow, SNMP).

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise, Security, Data centre)
.Palo Alto PCNSE or equivalent
.AWS/Azure Network Specialty (nice to have).
