Key Responsibilities of Assistant Professor in Anatomy A. Teaching & Academic Duties - TeachMBBS and allied health students(e.g., BDS, BSc Nursing, Physiotherapy) subjects such as: - Gross Anatomy - Histology - Embryology - Conduct: - Lectures,dissection hall sessions,microscopy labs, anddemonstrations - Tutorials,small group teaching, andstudent assessments - Assist in preparing academic materials, internal assessments, and maintaining teaching logs. B. Laboratory & Practical Responsibilities - Supervise: - Cadaver dissections, maintenance ofdissection hallhygiene and safety. - Histology practicals including slide preparation and microscope use. - Help maintainanatomical museumspecimens and models. C. Research Involvement - Participate in departmental or interdisciplinaryresearch projects. - Assist senior faculty in preparingresearch papers, proposals, or case studies. - Begin contributing to publications and attend CME, conferences, and workshops. D. Departmental & Administrative Support - Help with: - Time-table preparation - Exam invigilationand evaluation - Record keepingandNMC documentation - Participate in departmental events, guest lectures, student outreach, and academic audits.
