Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Drawing Review (Dry & Wet Plants) Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance of all designs/drawings with statutory regulations, engineering standards, and HSE policies. - Review mechanical drawings (GA, fabrication, P&IDs) for Dry & Wet Plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, HPGR, mills, flotation, filters, etc.). - Verify designs for constructability, operability, maintainability, and safety. - Identify design clashes or gaps and provide corrective feedback to EPC/OEM. - Provide technical support to construction, commissioning, and procurement teams. - Ensure adherence to ASME/ASTM/ISO/DIN/BIS standards and maintain document control. - Recommend design improvements and support 3D model/digital twin implementation. Requirements - Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 5–10 years in heavy industry or mineral processing projects - Skills: - Strong in mechanical design and drawing review (GA, P&IDs, vendor docs) - Familiar with 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SmartPlant, Navisworks) - Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards - Excellent documentation and communication skills
