The Team

Our development team of innovators love technology as much as you do. And we&aposre looking for an energetic developer who is passionate about creating high-performing, scalable, and cloud-native services. We encourage a culture of experimentation whilst seeking to reduce manual toil by automating Five9 workflows.

- This position is based out of one of the offices of our affiliate Acqueon Technologies in India, and will adopt the hybrid work arrangements of that location. You will be a member of the Acqueon team with responsibilities supporting Five9 products, collaborating with global teammates based primarily in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

- Be part of an agile team to develop scalable and highly available micro-services.
- Be highly motivated and positive, and foster a can-do attitude in a fast-moving collaborative environment.
- Get ready to learn, moving between teams whilst gaining knowledge on various cloud technologies.
- Participate in and contribute to requirements gathering and architecture design.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineering leaders and test engineers.
- Understand and apply performance and scalability principles when developing services.
- Document and communicate clearly architecture and implementation solutions.
- Be the service owner by instrumenting performance metrics.

Key Skills

- 4+ years of industry experience in Java development.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with modern enterprise frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
- Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performing microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team.
- Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with any public cloud platform is a plus.

Candidates will be familiar with the technologies that we use but may have not necessarily had the ability to work on them in their current job setting, which is OK. However, you should have a true passion for technology that is apparent through your previous experience.
