Plant Manager (Goa) - SE, GT GS - Substation, STATCOM, HVDC
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing and Assembly Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing and assembly setup.
- Ensure efficient and effective production processes to meet quality and delivery targets.
Process Evaluation and Automation:
- Critically evaluate existing manufacturing processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digitalization to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Lean Practices Deployment:
- Deploy lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Safety and Quality Culture:
- Lead and inspire employees to establish and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Workforce Optimization:
- Utilize the workforce optimally to achieve production goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
Diversity Development:
- Develop and sustain a diverse workforce.
- Promote an inclusive work environment that values diversity and fosters collaboration.
Technical Knowledge:
- Possess a basic understanding of the functioning of STATCOM and HVDC systems.
- Apply technical knowledge to support manufacturing and assembly operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering.
- At least 10+ years of experience, especially in project/manufacturing background.
- Basic understanding of substations, STATCOM, and HVDC systems is required.

- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement lean manufacturing practices and process improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve safety and quality standards.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing automation and digitalization solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
