Job Title: Draftsman – Mechanical Experience: 2–3 Years. Location: Hadapsar, Pune. ______________ Job Description We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsman with hands-on experience in sheet metal design, fabrication drawings, structural drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of preparing accurate and detailed drawings as per project requirements. ______________ Key Responsibilities • Prepare Layout Drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, structural drawings, and detailed component drawings for mechanical equipment and systems. • Develop sheet metal layouts and ensure manufacturability and accuracy in dimensions. • Work closely with design, project and production teams to understand technical requirements and implement design changes. • Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation as per company standards. • Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams for clarification of drawings and ensure quality output. • Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and project specifications. • Site visits for Layout (If required) ______________ Required Skills & Competencies • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting and detailing). • Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication and sheet metal design. • Knowledge of steel structures and welded assemblies. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. ______________ Qualification • ITI (Draftsman – Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ______________ Preferred Experience / Domain Knowledge Experience in preparation of drawings for: • Bag Filters • Screw Conveyors • Pneumatic Conveying Systems • Industrial Fans / Blowers • Scrubbers • Grain Handling Systems - Candidates with relevant project or fabrication industry background will be preferred. - Immediate joiners would be preferred
