Job Description As a Finance Associate you are responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial information of Artefact Companies to assist making the informed business decisions.This may include creating financial models, analyzing financial data, conducting market research, and making recommendations to management. You may also be responsible for creating financial reports, budgeting and forecasting, and identifying trends and potential risks. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. - Assist on creating and analysing commercial performance of the projects as per the commercial plans and spending thereof. - Reconciling client revenue accruals with actual media / staff time investments done and third party media provider invoices received. - Assist on financial tasks of Artefact Companies, including invoice checking and reconciliation, financial administration. - Undertake ad hoc assignments from time to time as requested by management. - Work proactively with the Finance Directors and Finance Managers to improve working practices where possible. - Communicate effectively with other team members and provide feedback where necessary. - Develop and share knowledge and best practice internally, and externally where appropriate. - Ensure accurate recording of team time spent on client campaigns / projects and individual tasks based on internal tooling. - Maintain records as appropriate and ensure all related documents are filed in an orderly manner, and internal tools are up to date for reporting - Maintenance of GL or accounting software and internal tools, complete bookkeeping of Artefact records, proficient in Zoho Books, developer of Zoho Analytics (MUST) - Assist in the financial or periodic audits of the Artefact books, ensuring internal controls giving enough measures to mitigate risks and making corrective actions - Assist in working capital analysis and follow ups with customers and vendors to improve cash needs of the business
