Spa Trainer

Job Overview We are looking for a qualified and experienced Spa Trainer - Female to join our luxury wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa therapies, training, and development, and will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service, hygiene, and technique across all spa treatments. This role requires someone who is passionate about beauty, wellness, and education, and who can confidently lead training sessions for spa staff. As a Spa Trainer, you will play a crucial role in improving the knowledge, skills, and performance of spa therapists. Your main responsibility will be to design and deliver training programs for new hires and existing team members, ensuring consistency in quality, client experience, and service excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development Develop, implement, and continuously update training programs for spa staff in line with international standards and the company's brand protocols. Provide hands-on training in massage therapies, body treatments, facials, waxing, threading, manicure/pedicure, and other wellness services. Conduct refresher training sessions regularly to maintain consistency and high performance. Train therapists on hygiene standards, product usage, client interaction, and retail upselling techniques. Support staff in achieving skill certifications and maintain proper training records. Quality Control Evaluate the performance of spa staff regularly to ensure service quality and professional conduct. Observe therapy sessions and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Monitor client feedback and ensure concerns related to service delivery are promptly addressed through coaching and mentoring. Operational Support Assist the Spa Manager with recruitment by evaluating technical skills of potential spa therapists during interviews and trials. Contribute to spa operations during busy periods or when needed, by performing treatments. Ensure therapists are following correct procedures regarding product usage, cleanliness, and client consultation. Conduct regular assessments and submit reports to management regarding team performance and training outcomes. Product Knowledge & Retail Train therapists in brand-specific treatments and retail product knowledge. Support therapists in meeting product sales targets by teaching effective communication and selling techniques.
