The Data Quality Intermediate Analyst is responsible for delivering subject matter and industry expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team This role deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction job family Responsibilities Partners with business teams to develop process improvements solutions and streamline operational workflows Applies professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results based on the analysis of information May occasionally provide informal guidance or on the job training to new or lower-level team members Communicates with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex sensitive information with project stake holders or internal parties Works and coordinates with a multidisciplinary group of business leads operations managers and technologists Conduct root cause analysis and dispositioning of data quality scorecard exceptions Report Data Quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process Defines detailed business data requirements and documenting them Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable rules laws and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications 5 years Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs Banking or Finance industry preferred Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications Word Excel PowerPoint Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools Working knowledge of Tableau report consumer developer etc Demonstrated understanding of Database structures Flexible team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education Bachelor s University degree or equivalent experience Job Family Group Data Governance Job Family Data Quality Data Quality Analytics and Reporting Time Type Full time Most Relevant Skills Change Management Data Analysis Data Governance Data Lineage Data Management Data Quality Internal Controls Management Reporting Program Management Risk Management Other Relevant Skills Data Quality Management Citi is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View Citi s and the poster
