Job Description Are you passionate about delivering impactful app experiences that delight customers and drive business value As a Program Manager 2 Surface App Feature PM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the vision for the Surface app, ensuring it continues to be a trusted companion for Surface customers worldwide. This role combines Product Vision Ownership for key feature areas with Technical Program Manager II (TPM) responsibilities to drive execution in partnership with design, engineering, and cross-functional teams. You will also manage strategic partnerships inside and outside Surface, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of high-quality features. You'll work on a diverse set of initiativesfrom enabling new customer-facing features to supporting incubation projects that explore the future of Surface experiences. Responsibilities - Feature Ownership & Execution - - Define and drive the vision and roadmap for assigned app features, ensuring alignment with brand principles, business goals, and customer needs. - Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver feature investments on time and with high quality. - Champion the integration of AI-driven insights and capabilities into app features to enhance personalization, automation, and customer value. - Technical Programme Management - Lead execution for platform migrations and feature enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. - Define clear success metrics and track progress across milestones. - Leverage AI-powered analytics and predictive modelling to inform prioritization and improve feature performance. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and unblock dependencies. - Act as the primary liaison for feature-related discussions and decisions. - Promote a frontier mindset by identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies and innovative approaches in collaboration with incubation teams. - Innovation & Incubation Support - Support exploratory work with incubation teams, contributing to early-stage concept validation and prototyping efforts. - Drive experimentation with AI and next-generation technologies to accelerate concept-to-market cycles. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development - OR equivalent experience. - 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. - Proven ability to manage end-to-end feature lifecycle, from ideation to launch. - Solid technical understanding of app development frameworks and platform migration - Solid knowledge of AI technologies and their application in product experiences. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working in cross-functional, global teams. Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: - Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
