Job Description

- Design and execute ETL test cases to validate data integration processes and workflows.

- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data by performing SQL queries and validations.

- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.

- Write and execute Unix Shell scripts to automate testing processes.

- Document test results and provide detailed defect reports where necessary.

- Support performance testing and optimisation of ETL processes.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on data quality improvements.

- Maintain test environments and ensure data security protocols are followed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ETL Tester should have:

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.

- Hands-on experience with Unix Shell scripting for automation tasks.

- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes in the Technology & Telecoms industry.

- A keen eye for detail and a focus on data accuracy and quality.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
