What You'll Achieve As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will: - Working with external partners and internal Dell technology, marketing and engineering teams to define and develop solutions related to Windows desktop applications & services - Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of technology principles, best practices, and procedures to the completion of complex software development assignments - Develops complex code and configuration data using secure coding practices - Ensures that all code, configuration data, and system documentation is accurate, complete, understandable, and adheres to company standards - Address security vulnerabilities by using tools to assure security, analyze outputs, and recommend corrective actions Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements - Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in C#.Net - Understanding of GUI development with WPF with MVVM, UWP - Windows internals understanding - Experience working on or leading agile development teams - Experience working on a team delivering a customer facing product Desirable Requirements - BE/BTech or ME/MTech/MS and 10+ years of relevant experience and Understanding the git source control system like GitHub, BitBucket, etc. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, etc.) and Strong understanding of Secure development lifecycle and product development lifecycle Who We Are We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
