Job Title Production Manager - Food Industry Location Ecotech 1 GREATER NOIDA Department Operations Plant Management Reporting to Operations Head Plant Head Experience Required 6 years minimum 3 years in a managerial role in the food industry Education Degree in Food Technology Dairy Engineering Biotechnology B Pharm or related fields Salary 60 000 to 80 000 As per interview and experience Job Summary We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Production Manager to lead and manage production and plant operations within the food industry The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contract manufacturers and working with multinational companies This role requires a deep understanding of food safety quality systems and audit compliance The candidate must be hands-on with day-to-day production quality assurance and team leadership ensuring products are manufactured efficiently safely and to the highest standards Key Responsibilities Production Operations Management Oversee end-to-end production processes across internal and third-party manufacturing units Ensure timely production planning and execution in line with demand forecasts and business requirements Optimize plant performance by improving productivity reducing downtime and controlling manufacturing costs Contract Manufacturing Oversight Manage and coordinate with contract manufacturing partners to ensure consistent quality efficiency and compliance with company standards Lead onboarding and evaluation of new third-party manufacturers as required Quality Compliance Audits Ensure adherence to national and international food safety standards FSSAI HACCP GMP ISO etc Prepare and lead third-party customer and regulatory audits e g FSSAI FDA ISO Drive continuous improvement in food quality and safety Team Leadership Manage and mentor production and plant teams to build a high-performance safety-conscious culture Conduct training on SOPs hygiene safety and quality protocols Process Optimization Reporting Implement lean manufacturing 5S and other operational excellence practices Monitor and report key production KPIs to senior management Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Food Technology Dairy Engineering Biotechnology B Pharm or similar discipline Master s preferred 8 years of relevant experience in the food or allied manufacturing sector with proven success in managing contract manufacturers and plant operations Experience working with or for multinational companies in a regulated manufacturing environment Strong understanding of food safety standards quality control and regulatory requirements Excellent leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience contract manufacturers for multi nationals 5 years Required faced quality and safety audits 5 years Required food industry 5 years Required Food production 5 years Required Plant management 5 years Required Food Technologist 5 years Required Biotechnology Engineer 4 years Required
