Applications Open: NDV Law Fellowship

The National Development Volunteers (NDV) invites applications for its Law Fellowship program. This is not an academic exercise in abstract theory, but a structured opportunity to shape Bharats civilizational jurisprudence through rigorous, real-world legal and policy work.

Who We Are Looking For

a. Students currently in the 3rd to 5th year of a five-year integrated law course, or in the 2nd to 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. program.

b. Individuals rooted in Dharmic thought, committed to serious legal reform, and equipped with intellectual integrity.

c. Fellows capable of engaging meaningfully with senior advocates, scholars, legislators, and policymakers.

d. Those who are driven to influence courtrooms, legislation, and campus discourse with clarity and conviction.

Nature of Work

1. Researching and drafting on critical areas such as Waqf law, Hindu temple governance, hate speech regulation, and the Uniform Civil Code.
2. Preparing legislative reform proposals and statute-drafting projects of civilizational importance.
3. Assisting in the preparation and filing of Public Interest Litigations (PILs) and other strategic litigation.
4. Designing and contributing to public law and legal philosophy courses with collaborating universities and institutions.
5. Working on CSR-aligned legal reform projects and contributing to NDVs institutional reports, briefs, and publications.

Fellows work in an intellectually honest and collaborative environment, producing bold, Dharma-grounded, and data-backed legal work that has tangible impact in courtrooms, legislative processes, and academic discourse.

c. Remuneration: NDV follows a royalty-sharing model for publications, ensuring recognition and material benefit for intellectual contributions.

Note: The NDV Law Fellowship is a research and policy engagement fellowship. Fellows shall not be asked to undertake fundraising or donation-related assignments under any circumstances. All assignments are strictly academic, legal, or policy-oriented, focusing on research, drafting, litigation support, legislative reform, and field investigations relevant to NDVs mandate.
